Founded in 2005 by Joe Valesko in the US, Zpacks began with a focus on creating lightweight gear for long-distance hiking. Today, the brand specialises in ultralight backpacking equipment, including shelters, backpacks, quilts and technical apparel, all designed to minimise weight while maximising performance.
Zpacks has also received industry recognition and awards for its innovative approach to lightweight outdoor gear, including Backpacking Light’s 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award.
